If reports are to be believed, she is going through a bad phase in her relationship with Arjun Kapoor. News of Malaika and Arjun’s breakup has been coming for a long time but both of them have maintained silence on it. Their breakup seemed confirmed to the fans when Malaika did not attend Arjun’s midnight birthday party. Not only this, she did not even wish Arjun on his birthday on social media. Now Malaika has reacted to the news of breakup.
Malaika spoke to Hello magazine about her relationship and trolling. Amidst the news of breakup, Malaika said that the internet can be a very toxic place. Malaika said- ‘I have somehow created a mechanism – or say a shield – around myself, from where I don’t let negativity enter anymore.’
Said this on trolling
Malaika further said- ‘I have distanced myself from it. Be it people, work environment, social media or trolls. As soon as I feel that negativity, I immediately back off. This is something I have learned to do over time. It used to overwhelm me earlier and because of which I could not sleep at night. If I say that these things do not affect me at all then I would be lying – I am also human and so I will cry, break down and face all the emotions related to being trolled. But you will never see it publicly.’
I will fight for my love till the end
When Malaika was asked about love, she said- ‘I am a hardcore romantic. I will never give up on the idea of true love no matter what happens. I am a typical Scorpio so I will fight for my love till the end but I am also very realistic and I know where to draw the line.
